Hey Steve, have you got details of the Nottingham MB specialist? MP just coming to end of warranty so local specialist useful to know, ta!

Its the MB Centre on the Whitecity trading estate, NG2 4EL. They have the service software and kit so my extended warranty is secure and seemed to do a good job. This was for the expensive second service.

Just a quick note re servicing costs in general and in particular, the importance of shopping around....

My MP is due it's first service - the 'a service' - and I have been quoted between 340 and 640 by different main stealers within a 45 min drive of Southampton... That's 15 mins well spent firing off emails!!

Did you go back to 640 man and ask him to justify it? He may well have undercut 340 dude
