Stowage under rear bed section

Can anyone shed light on what the underside of the rear lower bed section (above table and chairs set)

There appears to be a stowage space for a flat object on the underside of this rear shelf that lifts up above the table and chairs stowage. Clearly a bracket and 2 retaining catches ?

Looks like a table or something could be stowed here ?

The table fits in there rather than in the the fabric sling bit below. Push the table into the slot near the hinge then rotate the catches to hold the table in place. Make sure the table legs are properly flat.

Many thanks. Seems obvious now but the vehicle has clearly not been checked by selling dealer as the table and only 1 chair (with the back missing) were in the fabric sling. Not impressed with the dealer who will be named if they don’t sort out issues.
