AFAIK Mercedes no longer sell the rack (which I think was a Thule product) because it's no longer a recommended fit for the electric tailgate. They do appear second hand from time to time - keep an eye on the various forums, eBay, FB pages and Marketplace. The alternative is a Fiamma rack for the V Class/Vito/Viano - I bought mine little used from a Viano owner and it works well. Compared to the Mercedes product, it's also a good bit cheaper.

Hi James. I have one of these for sale but have not got round to listing it here yet.... Was waiting for spring!

It's the original MB rack (think I still have receipts) which I had powder coated in black by 'blast and coast' near reading. Sadly they are no longer trading but did a great job, fully dismantling and reassembling the rack. It really looks the part on a dark MP.

I always thought it a shame that MB didn't offer a black version (unlike VW), and picked up on thread on the california owners club which led me to the solution I found.
