Germans can do it so why can’t we ?

We used to get invited to the VW Cali meeting, haven't for the past few years. I don't think there are enough active people on here to organise and attend.

Just an idea & thanks for the reply

We could join the Mercedes rally at Beaulieu - this year's one has just happened https://www.beaulieu.co.uk/events/simply-mercedes/. If we had 10 vehicles, we could qualify for a club stand, whatever that is, and a dedicated parking area, apparently. It could make for a nice weekend overnighting in the New Forest, maybe?

Edited to say that the cost - if arriving in a rally vehicle - appears to be £8-10 per person for children and £16-20 for adults, vehicles free.

Participant and visitor tickets will include entrance to the rest of the Beaulieu attraction, including the National Motor Museum, Palace House, Little Beaulieu, World of Top Gear, Beaulieu Abbey and its grounds and gardens.
