Urgent roof help please.

Help please gang! Roof issues.

Away for the first time since having our roof replaced and the fabric has come away from the roof itself (see pic).

The help I need is confirmation from any of you whether the rubber seal that holds the fabric in the channel is meant to be on the inside or outside please.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes, have had the same issue on our roof replacement. The seal is supposed to be on the inside, but it should fit into the groove. Where did you get yours replaced....?

Roof was replaced a body shop not Mercedes themselves. I solved it by pulling the seal out and reseating the fabric around the whole perimeter of the roof. The issue was that if you don’t hold the correct tension all the way around it ends up tight in the last corner.

Yeah, same here. Work done by bodyshop not Mercedes themselves despite being under warranty. They've failed to get the seal right after 4 attempts and have ruined the bellows trying to get the seal in.
