Remote control feature from phone

We have a 2018 MP AMG line and wondered if you can upgrade the infotainment to have the remote control feature from your phone ?

It's unlikely, unless anyone know differently. It was an oldish system in 2018, e.g updates through SD cards, no touch screen, no DAB.

There are 2 mobile apps. The Mercedes Benz Advanced Control (MBAC) only works with the later MP which have MBUX (MB User Experience) late 2020 on. I can't recall whether the "Mercedes Me" app worked with my previous MP (2019, COMAND) MP. The difference between Mercedes Me and MBAC is that MBAC controls the camping features (heater, roof etc) and Me provides the lock status, location, service info etc. Both work well provided that you keep the app and system updated.
