Just picked up our new MP
A159CC83-56C9-43FB-993C-8D10590B4B63.jpegand going to be spending a few weeks shaking things down in wales. Weve been spending the last few years full timing in North America in this:

So the MP will be a bit of a change for us!

Questions - do UK campsites generally have water stations with taps and hoses that we can use to fill the van or do we need to take a hose?

Do electrical hook ups take 3 pin domestic plugs or marine style 16amp 3pins? Or both…..

TIA

We had same thoughts at first … each site we’ve stayed on has had electric hook up needing a cable like @Helingbury showed - we bought a 25m one which has been plenty enough; I’d also recommend a short 1m cable that goes from 16A connector to U.K. domestic 3pin plug which you can then plug in when you’re at home (assuming no 16A connectors at home).

On the water front, a short 1m - 2m food standards hose plus a container (5litre water bottle?) works well - 5litre size might take a few trips to the tap BUT it’s easier to manage and carry and hold up when filling the van

As mentioned above, standard hookup cable and a food grade hose. I'd also suggest supplementing with the cable adapter @StevieG refers too and also a Colapz collapsible bucket / watering can for easy top ups
