Where to attach driveaway awning

Hi everyone. This may be a silly question. We are eagerly awaiting delivery of our Marco Polo and have purchased a driveaway awning. Our MP does not have a factory fitted side awning. Where do we actually attach our driveaway is it into the rail tracks on the roof? Thank you

Hi,
Yes the MP has a channel on the side of the roof to slide the awning into.
If you want to use the ability to drive away you will need a Kador strip. (Google it)
It’s a flexible strip that you thread into the channel on the van, then thread the awning to the strip to attach it to the van.
Its easier to do than to try and explain it!
Enjoy your new van when it arrives

Hi thank you for your help we have put the awning up in garden as a practice but just had a bit of a panic as how to actually attach to the van, we have the kador strip and understand now that you have said there is a channel on the van. Very excited can’t wait. Thank you

Hi
Is the rubber strip with a thin opening along the side of the van under the pop top seal ? Will awning strips/ rails fit in there ? Seems a bit narrow ? Thanks

I have purchased a drive away tent and require a Kadore strip. Can anyone tell me what size fits into the channel of the Marco Polo?
