Seats Marco Polo 2017 would fit Vito Tourer 2021

Hello,

is a technical question i know vito and marco on same platform made in Spain factory.

my question is are the rails that hold seats in rear the same can you switch seats between marco polo (V Class) and the Vito tourer.

i couldn't find anything about this on internet maybe it is clear to someone here but as is Marco polo forum but maybe no one cares about the seating configuration on a mercedes Vito

happy if someone knows even if chances are small.

Thanks
Bruce.

MB has the same single seats for V-class, Vito Tourer and MP Horizon/Activity where rails pitch is 35cm, just keep on mind there have to be also brackets in the rails where the seats are mounted

As far as I am aware you need to understand that some seats won’t fit the Marco Polo because of the kitchenette and the (2) rail configuration, however I think the Horizon or at least the 2018 horizon has 4 rails so most maybe even all of the Vito seating options will fit. As @caMPike says the rails also need the sliding blocks to accommodate extra seating. We looked at getting the table for our Horizon from the earlier V-class but this table only fits to the dedicated, extended rail type that has extra rail fitting for the folding table.

I am not sure about the Vito tourer fittings they do look the same so I have to presume that any single or double seat would fit the full fat MP and the folding/three seat option would also fit the horizon. This is my conclusion anyway but I’ve not yet had the option to test this.

It makes no sense for MB to change the rail system between model variants. But until this has been tested I really cannot be sure.

Ahh yes the rear of the vehicle Vito is set up for a parcel shelf, the outer rails are longer to accommodate this. The MP uses this to fit the bed extender. So the Horizon and the Vito has the capacity to take three seat all the way to the rear door but you may have to remove the fittings for any parcel shelf/bed extender as they somehow fit into the seat runner in sliding rail..

The Marco Polo (with kitchen) would (I guess) be the same and take a double seat to the rear door if needed. I think newer 2021 MPs have a different rail setup so you need to check what this is and which model best suits your needs.

What is it you are planning? With what vehicle?

I get vehicle with only five seats two front three middle want three rear to make eight. the middle one can turn round have a camping table from decathlon to use not sure can add table on rails.

I’m pretty sure the tourer can offer a 8 seat configuration. The front three seats should offer a folding option to allow access to the rear.

There is not enough space for legs once the middle seats are opposite and passengers would sit face to face in 2nd and 3rd row.
The reason is opposite leaning of front and middle backseats, there is big triangle gap in between and less space between 2-3 row

Ohh have you tried this, seems like a serious design fault our old 1990 V280 could configure this way with rear facing front row (any row actually).. you did have to have the seats in a upright position and ideally the driver/passenger would have short legs. The v280 was 300mm shorter than the MP. I am 6” and had no issues with the slight compromise in driving position.

@caMPike are you talking about the full fat MP with the kitchen and twin rear bed seat. I think this discussion is focused on the vClass.. I do agree in the case of the full fat MP…

Talking about MP Activity 2019, without kitchen cabinet, where interior space is equal to Vclass or Vito Tourer, my driver seat is very close to maximal distance position (I am 6’3”)
Having single seats in 2nd row in opposite configuration the legroom between 2-3 row is not comfortable for full passenger occupancy
