Anyone else get a sign that keeps popping up on the dash saying (REDUCE ENGINE OIL LEVEL), had it serviced about 6month ago and I have never added oil in the last year leaving it to the professionals. So annoying. I mean how can you have yo much oil when none has been added for 6 months.

Yes I had this after a service by an independent merc specialist in Glasgow. The warning message only came on about 25 mins into a drive.

Took it back twice each time they just siphoned off a small quantity of engine oil.

I was thinking they’d do it by taking out the sump plug but no just some kind of manual siphon pump.

been fine since.
