Not the radio no, that's still from the main driving battery.

You get a warning on the centre screen that the radio/media will shut down, its a bit annoying but there to protect the engine battery. I just use a UE Bluetooth speaker and my iPhone, music and radio are all on there.

Thanks for that. Can I connect a multi gang extension to the 230v socket inside the car to power things like a heater or TV in the awning

You can, but you're limited to 10A so a big heater will trip it.
