This post references a 2023 highly speccd MP.
When purchasing my MP, the sales people told me "...and you can control the lights and more with an app!"
What they didn't say is that was the ONLY way to use some of the lights while in the back!
Of course, you can also use the front screen by bending down in between the seats.
The "main" back lights (above the sliding door and the cooker) can be turned on by pressing a button, but then you cannot turn them off with the MBAC system, and you have to physically go back and turn them off by pressing the button again.
I think those are actually 2 lights in one, since the MBAC switch will have the strength and warmth selected in the app, while the manual button will have a regular 3000k-ish, 50% brightness level.
Some other lights that are not "connected", such as
Here goes with the questions:
Basically I'd love to have all lights controllable in a centralized way, not just part of the light system...
I am aware the MP is basically a retrofit camper, but it's a MB sanctioned retrofit, so I was expecting a better level of details in this regards.
Please feel free to tell me I'm full of [insert chocolate ice cream emoji],

- the popup roof reading lights,

Here goes with the questions:
- Is this an accurate description of the setup?
- Is it how it's supposed to be?
- Am I expecting too much from a €100k+ Mercedes vehicule?
- Does anyone else think this is an inconvenience, and done something about it?
- If so, are there resources online I could follow in order to fix this?
