Auxiliary battery

Hello,
I am to pickup my new Marco Polo. It will be first one. I wander if I should consider buying additional battery. If so what kind? Something like 1kWh 230 or there are low voltage to connect to car battery? Or even a small FV panell?

Saw this on the Facebook Marco Polo owners page. Hope it helps but I would double check just in case this is not correct.

Personally I would only buy one if and when I needed it. The car should charge it when driving I think or when the ac is plugged into the mains supply.

my leisure voltage sits without engine running and not connected to mains supply somewhere between 12.2-12.7 volts.

I have a jackory power station and solar panel which works well, in the sunshine that is! A bit more expensive but more versatile than an extra battery, plus is easy to store and move about.
