Having accidentally put Adblue into my diesel tank, I had the Fidel removed and filters replaced .
My MP performed as normal for 3 weeks then suddenly lost power. Taking it to my nearest MO dealer they found the Adblue had crystallised in the fuel line . Repair costs $Aud 17 k - about £8000.
Dealer suggested claim against vehicle insurance, as not wrong fuel but an additive .
2 weeks of exchanges with the insurer they agreed to my claim
So check your insurance policies as they look for ways to reject claims!!
