A bit fell off!

Wonder if anyone can help with this?

While parking up this afternoon at a gently sloping site, I was clumsy enough to knock a screw cap off the underside of the vehicle.

I'll post a picture shortly but it's come off front just behind the passenger side front wheel, there's a clear hole where it came from. I don't suppose I'll be able to get it back it while I'm away but it would be good to know if it's (very) important!

I'd say there's nothing leaking out but tbh it's chucking it done and I can't really tell...

Many thanks for any assistance!

Disappointingly my other pics have been deemed too large and it has now got dark... It's a little smaller than the water filler cap I guess.

Its in the same vicinity as the aux cabin heater (mines a MY21) so could it be so do with that? I've had the heating on and seems functional. Faint diesel smell outside but that's probably always there, jusg never went looking for it before!

Nothing seems to be leaking out so I'm hoping it's non critical.... I'm in Austria and a very long way from home!

I think that's the jacking point rubber isn't it?
Looking at my MP I have 4 that look identical to that with one matching just behind the driver's front wheel.
Mine just pulled out, but I found that pushing in and twisting seemed to secure it back. The 'clips' on the back weren't all there on mine either, so perhaps its a prior owner had same problem as you?
Hope that helps?

Hi Graham, thanks so much for taking the time to reply.

You are absolutely correct, there are 3 identical items still in situ, so I won't be losing any sleep over it! In due course I'll have a look and see if it can be put back in without too much trouble, otherwise it should be an inexpensive part to replace.

Much obliged to you again Graham, help like this makes the forum such a valuable resource.
