Horizon Configuration

Hi All,

I'm a current California owner and about to make the switch...

One question though. Does anyone have any experience with the MP Horizon and adding extra seats? In Germany you can specify 7 seats, but the UK dealers are saying that it's not possible in the UK version, but I'm not sure they would change the interior configuration just for a RHD model?

Any help gratefully received.

The uk pdf brochure (page 41) shows 5 seats only for the Horizon with no option to add more. However it does look like the runners are there should in the floor you wish to add 2 single seats much like you can add 1 extra seat to the Marco Polo.

Thanks for the replies... I will try and find out the runner spacing from Mercedes DE and assume it will be the same as a V Class and if so, I think I'm sorted.

I was wondering how you fared with regards the extra seats for the Horizon? I too am looking for 2 extra seats but unsure which models are compatible. If you have any learnings or experience I’d be super grateful!

Hi did anyone manage to find out if you could add extra seating and or replace the rear 3 seater bench with 2 singles and then 2 singles n the middle row

Have MP Activity ( similar to Horizon, base on Vito) standard configuration 2+3 and I add 2 single seats. The same has to work with the Horizon. Same seats as V-class incl rail mounting brackets.

Yeah I would like to see that and agree the horizon is essentially a V-Class with pop up roof... all options should be available to you although caution when adding more than 5 seats simply because the paperwork might need updating.

Using 6 seats configuration for daily driving as there is more space. For the single seats You need to instal brakets (runners) into rails (2 per each seat) these brakets are identical what You have for bench in third row (click in/out seat system).
See the picture when seat lifted, there are 2 bars for each leg inside of the rail. The brackets instalation requires some skills better to ask MB

Check car paper, my car was manufactered as 5 seats car but car is registrated as 4-7 seater according to the paper, so no need any further paper-work while adding 2 seats

don’t have serial no. it is hidden deep in rail, detail of the runner at picture
